To the editor:

It is true that if everyone did a little it would help a lot. Clients of Great Clips participated in a food drive for the local food shelves and Hermantown was the benefactor of the funds from one of the shops. We are thrilled that the staff and management provided this opportunity for citizens to contribute to such a worthy cause.

Another thank you to all of the patrons of Super One that purchase donation bags of food; Hermantown Food Shelf is one of the  benefactors of this campaign and the items received are greatly appreciated. Hopefully the economy is looking up  but let’s not lose the “help thy neighbor” sentiment that these tough times have rejuvenated.
